Succession Crisis in Iran’s Private Business Sector
Succession Crisis
In the Private Business Sector of Iran
Due to the lack of proper succession planning, absence of meritocracy, and inefficiency or absence of human capital development systems—which for various reasons have not been prioritized by entrepreneurs, CEOs, senior managers, and even middle managers—meritocracy and effective management and leadership have become a critical bottleneck in organizational development. This bottleneck will soon, especially in the private sector, turn into a crisis.
According to the Roma mission, which focuses on organizational development and has addressed its obstacles, issues, and challenges through the HR Summit events over the past five editions, the sixth edition also tackled a fundamental issue from multiple perspectives. The scientific program, following the format of this series of events, was held on Thursday, September 27, 2024 (5th of Mehr 1403 in the Iranian calendar) with seven speeches and three panel discussions, addressing the topic from various angles.
